Each quarter Learning Resource Services teaches a variety of workshops in collaboration with the UCSF community. Our workshops are tailored to the specific academic and/or clinical program, and generally consist of a single session, or short series of sessions, which are scheduled by the school or program and may be embedded in an existing course. Common topics for our workshops include:
- Effective board exam preparation
- Creating study plans for effective learning
- Strategies for demonstrating what you have learned in the classroom or clinical setting
- Time management strategies for effective learning
- Critical thinking in the health sciences
- Managing academic stress and test-anxiety
We invite UCSF faculty, staff, and students who would like to learn more to contact us to discuss how we can tailor a workshop to your audience and goals.
