Learning Resource Services offers support to help UCSF students in all schools and graduate students improve their academic and clinical success through the following methods

  • better test preparation
  • more efficient use of time
  • understanding of best learning approaches
  • better management of test anxiety

Services are provided through workshops tailored to specific academic programs, through individual consultations, and through consultations with small groups of students who study together.

Jamey is the Learning Resource Service Specialist. He takes a student centered approach and has over 40 years of experience in education, counseling, disability services, and social services. Jamey is happy to meet with students to discuss ways they can improve their overall approach to academic success, enhance study skills, test performance, and mastery of material.
